FAQs
How many people can Tosca take?
Tosca is small boat so is only coded to take your skipper and 3 passengers. Sorry we can’t take more but with a small number its easier to chat and get the most out of the experience.
Do I need to be physically fit?
Yes, you need to be able to get down steps and climb onto our boat. You need to have good mobility to be able to do this.
Do we need lifejackets?
Lifejackets are supplied and must be worn at all times. Tosca has all the latest safety equipment.
Are children allowed?
Yes. Under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
What if the weather is too bad on the day or we change our minds?
Please see our terms and conditions here.
What kind of wildlife could we see?
It varies from day to day and time of year, however we regularly see a wide range of seabirds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots and cormorants. We often see seals and occasionally dolphins. If you go for a lobster fishing experience you will see a range of sea creatures that come up in our creels from fish to crustaceans, octopus and sea urchins. You can never be sure though!
What should I wear?
Tosca is an open boat so there is a high chance that you could get wet. If there are any waves you will experience some sea-spray so please bring a waterproof. Also the deck is often wet so we recommend wellies or at least shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Best to leave your Jimmy Choos ashore.
